Last day before going to nyc till wed... gonna miss my baby... I'll be posting some pics on here of the helicopter ride hopefully and maybe some sights once i get down there... I'm staying in time square, so hopefully i can get some of the normal touristy shots... :-) Gotta get to bed, gettin up in 4.5 hours... it was so nice to see kelly one last time before i leave, since I won't see her till friday, since she's working wed/thurs night. Thats my luck, of course she's working the day I get home and can hang out! But it's all good, i'll be thinking of her the entire time i'm down there. damn, i love this girl.

Well saw my friend jamie today for the fist time in like 6 weeks, known her forever, so she came shopping with me, and i got a phat leather jacket :-). Thanks jigga. Just sitting around, kinda tired, don't wanna go out and spend money. Got a big week coming up, going to nyc on the chopper monday morning, and coming back on wed night. Gonna miss kelly :-(. So i'll be calling her all the time, I wish you could be there with me, so much we could do... even after we left the hotel. I'll take pics and talk to her all the time, so hopefully i'll be able to make it through. I won't see her after tomorrow till friday! omg, thats a long time at this point in our relationship! But the good thing, is that she's off fri/sat so we can hang out and we're supposed to go to foxwoods to hit up bingo on saturday hopefully now :-)
And to my other friend, keep lookin, what you want/need is out there, just have fun looking. He'll turn up.

well that was a good weekend, hung out with kelly friday and saturday. Watched some movies, and did some other stuff too. Drove home in the supposed "blizzard" which was like barely snowing at the time, and at 3:00 in the morning i was the only person on the roads except for the 40 plows i saw on the way home. So it was a pretty smooth drive. So anyways, now i'm bored, and looking for something to do! for those of you who don't know me i'm wicked impatient... so hopefully i'll find something to do soon!

Monday!
so yeah, slept in, then went out with the little lady and my close friends to bowl a few games. It was good times! Kelly is showing some improvement, slowly but surely... I think she'll be getting a bowling ball for her birthday... just kiddin babe! So this is a good week, saw kelly today, having dinner with her and her mom tomorrow, then wed she works and i'll see her fri-sun :-) can't wait. Actually feeling tired, and back to work tomorrow... so i'm hitting the sack.

Yeah, so first time actually writing in this journal. so gimme a break, but I've got some good friends on here, and of course my beautiful girlfriend, so I figure when I'm bored and she's at work this is a good way to pass the time.
So, a little about myself. My name is Derek, I'm from Western Mass, went to Central high school, and then Westfield State for college. I've got a BS in computer science, and a minor in math. I've worked at my current job since I graduated college in 2001. While in college I had an extremely long and not so fruitful relationship, from which I think I actually learned a lot from. Last summer I mostly spent my time relaxing with friend, most of the time boozing it up, which at the time I think I needed.
I've worked at my current job since I graduated college in 2001. I work on Servers at a large insurance company, if you are from around here you know which one... but anyways, mostly web stuff, installation/configuration/engineering, boring to most, but it keeps my interest. I'm really happy about working there, met a ton of great people, a couple not so great, but overall, it's been a great experience... and I hope it will continue to be.
So anyways, on to more interesting stuff... Currently I've got an amazing girl in my life, who's still new, but it seems like I've known her forever. Kelly rocks! And quite honestly I felt like i've known her for years the second time I saw her. She brightens my days, and nights ;-). She's just such a great person, and she's damn sexy which is a great bonus... and she honestly turns me on like no one has done before. Should be seeing her in eh, 13 or 14 hours, so thats all good... Weird thing is how we met, a friend of mine calls me up one day, who I dated a little bit in HS and became friends after. And she says that she's got a friend that I'm perfect for... blah blah blah, so as it turns out, my friend's boyfriend used to date kelly, and it's just all intertwined, so long story short, the most unlikely person to set me up sets me up with this great girl, and I don't think I'll ever be able to really believe I met such a great girl on a blind date.
Also as another tidbit of my personal life, another one in a million chance meeting is a now good friend of mine, crystle... Somehow a friend of mine, ended up on a blind date with a friend of hers, and was told to bring someone else... me, since the girl he was meeting was bringing a friend... technically the first "blind date ever" but since it wasn't really for me it was for my friend, I don't consider it that. I think that kelly was my first blind date. But anyways, started talking to Crystle online and turns out she's a really cool girl, and we've since hung out in providence a couple times where she lives now. And yeah I know I gotta get back out there soon.
So I guess i've blabbed about enough for now, can't wait to see kelly tomorrow, a day seems like an eternity... weird how that works huh? away from someone you love for a day and it's forever... guess it works the opposite way too, with someone u hate for a minute and it seems like forever too ;-)
ugh, not really tired, but gonna try to relax and fall asleep soon.
